Table of Short Wave Emittances

These tables are for use with a short waveband infrared camera. The values given are average emittances for the temperatures listed. Individual IR systems may give different readings than those listed due to their individual spectral characteristics and the unique surface conditions of the materials under examination.

This 16 page document is meant to be used as a guideline only. For greater accuracy, emittance should be measured in accordance with the Infraspection Institute Standard for Measuring & Compensating for Emittance Using Infrared Imaging Radiometers.
